Sacraments

Baptism - Parents seeking baptism for their child need to make an appointment with the Parish Life Director to begin the preparation process for the sacrament.  Baptism initiates the child into our faith community.  Parent(s) should be practicing members of the Catholic faith.

Confirmation - Any young high school adult needs to get in touch with the Pastoral Associate for Youth Ministry  at 283-6110 X 13.  Adults need to contact the Parish Life Director at 283-6110 X 11.

Marriage - Couples planning marriage in the faith should be practicing members of the faith and connected in some way to St. Michael's parish.  The couple should call the Parish Life Director at least eight months in advance of the desired marriage to begin the preparation process for the sacrament.  Couples are encouraged NOT to make reception plans until the desired date for the marriage has been cleared by the Parish Life Director.

Reconciliation - This sacrament of healing is offered by our Sacramental Ministers from 3:45 - 4:15pm on Saturdays or by appointment. Communal Reconciliation Services are offered during Advent and Lent.

Anointing (Sacrament of the Sick) - Our Sacramental Ministers will be pleased to offer this sacrament of healing to those who request it.  If our Sacramental Ministers are not available, the Parish Life Director will contact a priest from a neighboring parish to offer the sacrament.  A Communal Anointing Service is scheduled once per year in the parish and all are welcome to attend this service and receive the sacrament.
